(Media-Newswire.com) - WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University's Krannert School of Management ranks in the top 20 of U.S. business schools with a major international influence, according to a ranking by Eduniversal.
Krannert ranked No. 19 and was granted "five palms" by Eduniversal, the highest rating offered by the European-based online higher education selection tool. Schools on the list could rate from two palms - considered a good business school with regional influence - to five palms - universal business schools with major international influence.
Krannert was tied at 19th with the University of Michigan. Krannert was ranked 20th a year earlier.
Rankings were based on votes from deans at schools around the world as well as evaluations by Eduniversal's nine-member international scientific committee.
The votes for the 2011 rankings were compiled between December 2010 and March 2011.
